The intent of this solicitation is to select a successful Bidder (CONTRACTOR) to provide for the construction of the Osceola Parkway Gantry Screening Landscaping Project. This Project consists of the construction of soil embankment and landscaping to provide vegetative screening to the surrounding neighborhoods at the Osceola Parkway Toll Gantry location. Questions regarding this bid must be received through written email or faxed inquiries directed to the designated Procurement Services Representative The deadline for questions is Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 4:00 PM Local Time. This Project consists of the construction of soil embankment and landscaping to provide vegetative screening to the surrounding neighborhoods at the Osceola Parkway Toll Gantry location. Specifically, on the north side of the Osceola Parkway Gantry, two (2) soil embankments will need to be placed which will elevate the proposed vegetation to provide adequate vegetative screening from the Gantry. The vegetative covers include Cedar trees, Sabal Palms and Southern Magnolias. On the south side of the Osceola Parkway Gantry, only vegetative screening is proposed. All the landscaping shown in the plans adhere to the Florida Friendly Landscaping TM standards. This Project will be constructed within Osceola County's existing Right of Way. The project also includes: o Maintenance of Traffic o Erosion Control o Clearing and Grubbing o Embankment : The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has established a Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Program with a 25% participation goal.
