The City of Oshkosh (herein referred to as the City) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for all labor, materials and related work for plastering repair and restoration of the leisure pool area located within the Pollock Community Water Park at 1550 Taft Avenue SCOPE OF WORK Pollock Community Waterpark was built in 2006. In 2022-2023 the lazy river feature of the waterpark underwent a plastering repair and restoration process. Now the leisure pool of the waterpark is need of restoration of plastered basin and walls. The leisure pool includes zero depth entry, six lane lap pool with deep well for diving and drop slide features. The scope of work includes stripping plaster finish of the leisure (zero depth), lap and deep well pools down to shell, repairing cracks, removing and replacing tile lanes and targets, removing and replacing inside depth marker tiles, acid washing neutralizing and bond coat, and applying new quartz plaster finishes to all areas. Pre-Qualification Contractors must be qualified to submit a bid for this project FOR EACH CALENDAR YEAR. This shall be done on forms furnished by the City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and must be filled out in a proper manner and then submitted to the General Services Manager for consideration by the deadline stated within this IFB. The City of Oshkosh will not accept any bids that do not supply an approved Contractor Prequalification Form by the deadline stated within this IFB. If the City determines a contractor is NOT qualified to bid on this project they will be notified. The General Services Manager's decision as to qualifications will be final. A copy of this form is included within the bid specifications.
