Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as "CITYWIDE WATER LINE REPLACEMENT (MAUDE & SAN ALESO), UW-21-03" consisting of furnishing all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor, transportation and material necessary to install new water main, valves, and fire hydrants, tie-in of new mains to existing, remove and abandon existing facilities, replace fire services, air release valves, water blow offs, replace water service laterals up to existing water meters and replace water meters and water meter boxes where appropriate, disposal of existing ACP water main, remove abandoned water meter boxes and vaults, replace sanitary sewer lateral and storm drain lateral at water crossings as necessary, and surface restoration including crack seal, dig outs, slurry seal and restriping on San Aleso Avenue, according to plans and specifications prepared by the City of Sunnyvale and according to the contract documents. Project is to be completed within a total maximum of ninety (90) working days. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, for monies earned by the Contractor and withheld by the City of Sunnyvale to ensure the performance of the contract, the Contractor may, at his or her option, choose to substitute securities meeting the requirements of Section 22300.
