Number: AC-HSIPG-000B(809)E Description: This project, located in Montgomery and Prince George's County, is for Wbeam upgrades. Work will be performed as directed by the Engineer and may or may not be on a continual basis. The work will consist of the following: (a) W-beam, posts, and end treatment installation (b) W-beam removal and disposal All locations for this contract will be identified after the project is awarded. Each task will indicate the scope, limits of work, the estimated quantities, and completion duration limits. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB.
