Reference Number 0000345855 The City of Box Elder is seeking bids for the 2024 Chip Seal, Patch, and Crack Fill, road infrastructure repair project. The goal of the repairs is to improve and preserve the road surface to an acceptable condition, providing smoother driving conditions on the distressed roads with chip seal, patching, or crack fill. The project quantities can be found on the Bid Form but are subject to change based on price of materials. The project can be broken up into two parts. "Schedule A" consists of road repairs of various roads throughout the City of Box Elder. Schedule A has a budget not to exceed $267,436.25 for 2024. Schedule B is specific to Radar Hill Road and has a budget not to exceed $89,997.88 for 2024. Bidders will provide unit pricing to allow selective repairs to achieve success for these short-term repairs. A map is provided indicating the roads and the repair method required. Such bid security shall be a guarantee that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described within the contract documents and will furnish a surety bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract for performance and payment.
