As of April 11, 2024 , project was awarded to but awarded amount is not available The project consists of constructing approximately 1,535 lineal feet of two-lane roadway, 115' of bike path relocation, 230' of concrete curb and gutter, 1 acre of roadway obliteration, traffic control, and other related work. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Sugar City in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidder shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder as evidenced by a certificate of insurance. This project is funded through the Idaho Transportation Department, who is not a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting contract. Idaho requirements for public works contracting will apply. Prevailing wage rates are not required. Award of the contract will be contingent upon compliance with Idaho public works contracting requirements, bid requirements, and available project funding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as set forth above. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
