Renovation of an educational facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Roof 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 - Recap: .1 Existing modified roofing to remain in place. Prepare existing cap sheet by sweeping clean, priming, and embedding granules as per specification. Provide new roofing membrane cap sheet and install over existing. All blistering, delaminations and ridging to be repaired prior to priming. .2 Removal/provision of new roof edge metal flashing as noted in details. .3 Recapping of existing ventstacks as noted in details. .4 Where roofing is being recapped, replace clamping rings from drains raising height if necessary. .5 Recapping of existing roof expansion joint and control joints as per details. .6 Recapping of existing curbs for fan units, ducts, skylight, and hatch as per details. .7 Recapping of existing parapet walls and roof/masonry wall as per details. .8 Scrape, prime and repaint existing roof hatch and provide new extendable safety post. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB. Clarifications requested by Bidders must be in writing not less than seven days before date set for receipt of Bids.
