**As of April 25, 2024, the project was awarded to Robert Immel excavating for $127,796.30.** North Fond du Lac, WI- McKinley St Utility Replacement VILLAGE OF NORTH FOND DU LAC is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: MCKINLEY ST UTILITY REPLACEMENT Project #03514044 The Project includes the following Work: The purpose of this project is to relay watermain along McKinley Street from the intersection of Minnesota Avenue to Michigan Avenue and replace sanitary sewer in the intersection of McKinley St and Minnesota Ave. It also includes, but isn't limited to, replacing asphalt pavement, curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveways, site restoration, erosion control and traffic control . This project will be completed ahead of an upcoming bridge replacement project on McKinley Street just west of Minnesota Avenue. The work is described in detail by the plan sheets and the associated contract documents, including specifications, contained herein. The anticipated substantial completion date is May 31, 2024 and Final Completion date is June 14, 2024. . Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages.
