2024 Roadway Paving Project. Question Deadline 07/24/2024 Description: The Project includes the following Work The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Approximately 6000 SY of asphalt milling, 1100 Ton of asphalt paving, manhole adjustments, and pavement markings, traffic control, and erosion control for Chapman Ave, McKinley Street, and Minnesota Avenue. The anticipated substantial completion date is October 18, 2024 and final completion date is November 1, 2024.
