Reference Number 0000346023 The City of Gunnison, Colorado is requesting bids to furnish equipment and labor from qualified contractors on a price per hour or per day basis for a sanitary sewer expansion project within the city of Gunnison, Colorado during spring of 2024. However, these bids may be used on other utility work in 2024. Please refer to RFB documents for details. This contract (Project 1) consists of extending the sanitary sewer main approximately 300 feet northwest from the intersection of W. Denver Ave. and N. 8th St. to the southeast corner of Gunnison County Tax Parcel 370135000027 (see Exhibit D - Location Map) This work will include the installation of two manholes, crossing of irrigation ditches, and may require ground thawing or dewatering. The sewer line may require insulation to meet grading requirements and must be piped through all ditch crossings. All materials will be supplied by the City of Gunnison and work must follow all City Codes and City Construction Standards. Bids shall be submitted on attached bid form on a price per hour and day rate that includes contractor's overhead, profit, mobilization, work trucks, insurance, fuel, and all other incidental tools, small equipment (including plate compaction wacker) necessary for the work, and applicable fees.
