Western Technical College will receive bids for the following general scope of work for the Sparta Parking Lot Expansion Project. See plans, specifications, bid forms for final scopes of work. CONTRACT "A" - CIVIL - ASPHALT PAVEMENT All work under this contract shall be started no earlier than June 10, 2024, and be completed no later than August 16, 2024. Once work has commenced the contractor will have 15 working days to complete all work 1. Demolition including sawcuts, asphalt pavement removal, and base/subgrade as needed. 2. Common excavation 3. Site grading 4. Importing, placing and compacting subgrade and gravel base as necessary per designed grades 5. Performing proof roll of all gravel base and subgrade 6. Finish grading and compacting existing aggregate in preparation for paving asphalt 7. Paving asphaltic binder and surface 8. Pavement markings 9. Restore "green areas" with topsoil, seeding, and mulching /erosion control blanket and plantings 10. Silt fence installation and removal 11. Concrete work including sidewalk 12. Coordination and scheduling with all other contractors 13. All other miscellaneous general items as stated in project documents/specifications ALTERNATE "1" - CIVIL - GRAVEL PARKING SURFACE All work under this contract shall be started no earlier than June 10, 2024, and be completed no later than August 16, 2024. Once work has commenced the contractor will have 15 working days to complete all work. 1. Demolition including maintain existing infrastructure 2. Common excavation 3. Site grading 4. Importing, placing, and compacting subgrade and gravel base as necessary per designed grades 5. Performing proof roll of all gravel base and subgrade 6. Finish grading and compacting aggregate 7. Restore "green areas" with topsoil, seeding, and mulching /erosion control blanket and plantings 8. Silt fence installation and removal 9. Coordination and scheduling with all other contractors. 10.
