Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harlan, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of March 22, 2024, this project was awarded to Mountain Construction Co, awarded amount is not available. The City of Harlan is now accepting sealed bids for asphalt Paving During The 2024 Asphalt Paving Season. Items to bid are as follows: Item 1 - Base - Give price per ton, laid. Surface - Give price per ton, laid. Item 2 - Picked up by The City of Harlan at asphalt plant Surface - Give price per ton Base - Give Price Per Ton. Prices quoted shall include any oil treatment necessary, and no extra cost shall be incurred for tack oil. Prices quoted shall also include manpower necessary for the spreading and compaction, and directional safe . One year warranty on material and workmanship required. All by the Standard Road and edition, by the Kentucky Bureau of Highways shall also apply. The contractor must be a State approved contractor. All companies wishing to submit a bid are required to check each county road to be paved to be sure that proper equipment for paving is available. Each signed Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside "Asphalt." The envelope should bear on the outside the Bidder's name and address. The City of Harlan reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to select the bid best suited to its needs. The award shall be made on the basis of lowest and best bid.
