Proposals for JOC Contracts during the stated time period will only be accepted from proposers on the County's Qualified Proposers List, unless the County chooses to do an additional Prequalification process issued to the contracting community at large. The prequalified contractors list will be valid for one year. This Job Order Contract (JOC) is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor will perform a variety of projects, consisting of specific construction tasks, at various locations within the County. This JOC Contract is for road maintenance repair and other repetitive related work to be performed for the County of Santa Clara Roads and Airports Department. The scope of Work for this Contract will be determined by the Detailed Scope of Work issued in connection with individual Job Orders. The Contractor furnishes all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work. The Job Order(s) issued pursuant to this solicitation will have, in aggregate, a minimum contract value of $50,000 and a maximum contract value of $3,990,957 with a term of 12 months, with an option of extending or renewing the Job Order Contract for up to two subsequent, annual terms, with a potential maximum contract value of ($11,972,871) pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20155. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20155.4(b)(1), the County has entered into a Countywide Project Labor Agreement (PLA) with the Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Buildings and Trade Council, that binds all contractors and subcontractors performing work to use a skilled and trained workforce.
