The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to seek competitive sealed bids from qualified Vendors to furnish and deliver radar water level sensor equipment for The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Emergency Management. This equipment will allow the division to measure water levels and alert the public to potential floods. It is the Vendors sole responsibility to ensure its bid has been received as described in this IFB by the specified time and date of opening. Failure to submit a bid in strict accordance with instructions provided shall constitute sufficient cause to reject a Vendors bid(s). Solicitation responses are subject to Sealed Bidding requirements. Submit Written Questions :Vendor :March 21, 2024, by 2:00 pm, ET Provide Responses to Questions: State: March 22, 2024 Direct all inquiries concerning this IFB to: Tim Pendergrass Procurement Specialist III Background: The equipment requested will be used as backup equipment for current North Carolina Emergency Management (NCEM) gauge locations to replace, upgrade, or repair gauge equipment. NCEM currently utilizes Campbell Scientific radar sensor and data logger at seventy-one (71) new gauge locations which were recently installed and at thirty (30) gauge locations which were recently upgraded. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB and any addenda issued hereto.
