City of Burton reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The bidder must submit, with his bid, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00). The successful Contractor shall furnish the City of Burton with a Performance Bond in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) at the date the contract is executed by the Contractor. Each proposal shall be plainly marked in print on the outside of the sealed proposal envelope "HIGH WEED MOWING BID". The City of Burton reserves the right to extend the contract unit prices each year with a cost of living increase of a maximum of 5%, at their option.
