A general description of the work is as follows: The base bid consists of a 1" mill & fill resurfacing project, totaling 565 feet of center line. The project also includes 1 add alternate consisting of another 1" mill & fill resurfacing project, totaling 687 feet of center line. The alternate may be awarded depending on the base bid total. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon payment of $20.00 (non-refundable) for each set (plus shipping, handling and tax, if required). Payment shall be made to AA Blueprint. The date that the Bidding Documents are picked up will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Questions must be addressed in writing, by e-mail. Questions will not be accepted after 12:00 p.m. on March 26, 2024. The Village of Lakemore, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Owner. Bid bond presented for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond ("rollover bond") which shall suffice as the performance and payment bond for the successful bidder. The successful bidder who provides a bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit (optional) is required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds. Payment and performance bonds shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
