Maintenance Roadway Contract N215, NJ 23 and NJ 10 in Passaic, Morris, Sussex and Essex Counties and Various Locations in Morris, Passaic, Essex, and Union Counties; 100% State Funded, PE No: 2622599, CE No: 2622912 Estimated Completion Date on April 17, 2025 Estimated Range between $10,000,001 to $20,000,000 DVOB Goals for this Contract 2 % Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2b, 3, 3a or 5 Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department.
