Transient Apron Reconstruction (Phase 2) at Greenwood Lake Airport, West Milford Township, Passaic County, New Jersey; Federal Project No: FAA Funded Project, UPC No: N/A, PE No: N/A, CE No: 7015330 Approximate Construction Start: Spring 2025 DBE/ESBE Goals for this Project 0% Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2b, 3, 3a or 5 Greenwood Lake Airport's transient apron pavements are not in great condition. The pavements contain longitudinal and transverse cracks. Under this project almost half the transient apron will be reconstructed. This project will include full pavement replacement, correcting the areas where maximum allowable slopes are exceeded, replacement of the sub-base to a material and thickness that would provide adequate drainage to prevent frost heave cracking. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d) Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department.
