Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Milford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 12, 2024, project was awarded to Smith Sondy Asphalt Company Inc., with an awarded amount of $4,609,362.68. Description of the work in this bid involves resurfacing of roads throughout the County, drainage structure repairs, striping, concrete curb ramps, guiderail replacement and various related improvements. Some the principal items of work to be constructed, along with approximate quantities, are as follows: Base Bid Items Quantity Unit HMA MILLING, 3" OR LESS 178,025 SY HOT MIX ASPHALT 9.5M64 SURFACE COURSE, 2" THICK 20,050 TON BEAM GUIDE RAIL 19,350 LF All requests for information made by a bidder prior to the designated bid opening shall be made in writing to the following designated official: Nichelle Tello, Senior Buyer County of Passaic Purchasing Division Phone: (973) 247-3300 Email: nichellet@passaiccountynj.org The bidder must bring all requests for information as provided above no later than 1:00pm, ten (10) business days before the bid opening date. The County reserves the right to reject bid proposals for the reasons stated therein. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied by the County. Bidders must submit a total of four (4) bid proposals, as follows: one (1) original; two (2) copies; and one (1) electronically stored copy on a CD or USB Flash Drive. Bid proposals can be submitted in three (3) ways: (1) via hand-delivery during regular business hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; (2) via certified mail; or (3) overnight delivery. All bid proposals must be submitted at the address listed above. By typing your signature on the County bid document, you are doing so with the intent to sign your bid submission and consent to the terms of the County's bid specifications pursuant to the Uniformed Electronic Transaction Act.
