Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bay Head, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of October 10, 2024, the project was awarded to Anar Construction, with an awarded amount of $244,139.95. The Work of This Contract Includes, but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: Roadway Reconstruction of Maple Drive, Howe Street, & Holly Avenue Consisting of Installation of 3 Inlet Basins, 1 Manhole, and 63 Lf Storm Pipe, Pavement Reconstruction Including Approximately 4,290 Sy Varying Depth Milling; Gravel Base Course; 65 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt Base and 580 Tons Surface Course; 1,087 Lf Concrete Curb and Gutter Reconstruction; Traffic Striping; and All Work Necessary and Incidental Thereto. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Bay Head, and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. If the Bidder is a Corporation or a Partnership, the Bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his Bid, a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a 10 percent or greater interest in the firm. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening. The Engineer will arrange addenda, which shall become part of the contract, all pertinent questions received and his decision regarding each. Prior to the opening of the Bids, a copy of these addenda will be sent to each of those who have obtained a set of the Contract Documents from the Engineer.
