Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bay Head, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work of This Contract Includes, but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: Roadway Reconstruction of Grove Street, Strickland Street and Wyndham Drive Consisting of Installation of 1 Inlet Basin and 152 Lf Storm Pipe, Pavement Reconstruction Including Approximately 6,631 Sy Varying Depth Milling; Gravel Base Course; 39 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt Base and 886 Tons Surface Course; 287 Lf of Concrete Vertical Curb Reconstruction and 708 Concrete Curb and Gutter Reconstruction; Traffic Striping; and All Work Necessary and Incidental Thereto. The Contractor is Advised That All Work Must Be Completed No Later Than May 24, 2024. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Bay Head, and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
