The Contractor shall provide all labor and material for a preventative maintenance service as specified herein. Contractor to provide all labor and materiel and supervision for a preventative maintenance service as specified herein for Fire Suppression Systems. a. The term of this contract is to for 730 days (2 Years) and to cover all required testing and inspections during that time period as required below. b. Work shall be bid as a lump sum for the 2 year duration (730 days or 2Years). The attached supplemental cost sheet is to be filled out and returned with the bid documents. c. Invoices permitted semi-annual upon completion of work for that period. d. Work shall include providing approved Emergency Services at an additional charge to the contract. e. There shall be a minimum of 2 inspections per year approximately 180 saysapart. The Contractor shall not be required to make additional safety tests, install new devices or make modifications to any equipment to comply with the recommendations or directives of insurance companies, governmental bodies or for other reasons unless required in the specifications. Cutting and Patching : Cutting and patching of walls when required to make repairs on concealed piping or wiring is not within the scope of work. Liquidity Damages: The State will in good faith perform its required obligations hereunder and does not agree to pay any penalties, liquidated damages, interest or attorney's fees, except as permitted by Indiana law. Owner Rights: When the bidder adds any provision reserving the right to accept or reject the award, or if the bidder adds conditions or alternates to his bid not requested (voluntary alternates), or if there are unauthorized additions or irregularities of any kind which tend to make the proposal incomplete, indefinite or ambiguous as to its meaning or amount.
