Renovation of a mixed-use development in Defuniak Springs, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Walton County School District, Facilities Department, will receive and consider proposals from prospective Architectural Design firms for planning, development, and design for three projects. The firm or firms selected will work with the Facilities Department and Construction Management Firm under guidance of the School Board of Walton County, Florida. Firms may submit for all three projects or select individual projects. All Architectural proposals should include a letter of intent including a statement for the selected projects submitting for, stating qualifications on Standard Form-330 and limited to fifty (50) pages total. Applicants should list experience with K-12 Educational Facilities, 9- 12 Educational Facilities and Athletic Complexes. All three projects will be on occupied campuses. Experience with projects that fall under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Education, Office of Educational Facilities is preferred. Additionally: May provide certification or experience with Florida Department of Education, SREF Shall provide Florida Public Entity Crime Statement (287.133, F.S.) Shall be compliant with provisions of the Jessica Lunsford Act (1012.465, F.S.) The Facilities Evaluation Team will evaluate and conduct interviews to qualified firms. Selected short listed firms for each project will make formal presentations to the School Board at a date to be determined. Firms are notified that there should be no contact with any School Board member beyond this date. Doing so could constitute a disqualification of their submittal package.
