Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS (OWNER) will accept bids for the construction of the 1700 EAST IMPROVEMENTS AND FORT UNION BIKE PATH according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by the ENGINEER, and described in general as: The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for the construction of the below described project, located in Cottonwood Heights. Schedule A: 1700 East Improvements Work for roadway improvement project consists of the following items of work: mobilization, traffic control, and maintenance of traffic; reconstruction of miscellaneous structures to grade; relocation of water services, mailboxes, gates, signs, walls and any such miscellaneous structures conflicting with the improvements; all required earthwork; construction/reconstruction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway approaches, ADA access ramps; rotomilling and/or asphalt removal of existing pavement; placing and compacting new asphalt surface course; placing of tack coat and pavement reinforcement fabric; traffic paint striping, messages; and all appurtenant work; all in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Schedule B and Schedule C: Fort Union Bike Path Work for bike path improvement project consists of the following items of work: mobilization, traffic control, and maintenance of traffic; reconstruction of miscellaneous structures to grade; removal of storm drain structures, and any such miscellaneous structures conflicting with the improvements; all required earthwork; construction/reconstruction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway approaches, driveways, ADA access ramps; storm drain structures and piping, utility coordination/relocation, asphalt removal of existing pavement; placing and compacting new asphalt surface course; placing of tack coat and; replacing traffic paint striping, messages; and all appurtenant work; all in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
