The Greeneville town hall was constructed in 1967 and included a designed cupola on the building's roof. Over time, weather elements deteriorated the building materials and windows that comprise the cupola. The cupola base is approximately 10 X 10 feet wide at the base, and approximately 32 feet in height from the base to the top of the cupola. Access to the interior of the cupola can be reached through the attic of town hall. The Town of Greeneville is seeking proposals to repair the existing cupola to a standard that will not require major repairs for 20 years. Interested proposers shall submit a proposal that will address the following:
1. Repair and or replace any deteriorated framing or structurally supporting materials within the cupola
2. Repair and or replace any deteriorated wall, facing or other components that diminish the integrity of the cupola.
3. Replace/restore any windows that diminish the integrity of the cupola
4. A quoted price good for seventy-five (75) days from the bid opening date Owner Rights: The Town reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the process, and to accept or reject any item or combination of items. Selection will be to the entity whose proposal, in the opinion of the Town, is the best proposal taking into consideration all aspects of the entity's response. The Town reserves the right to reject the proposal of any entity who has previously failed in the proper maintenance of an award or to deliver on time services of a similar nature or who is not in a position to perform properly under this award.
