Project Estimate Range: $70,000 to $74,300. This project is for boring and installing 4" HPDE conduit at various locations in Port Angeles. The City may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder will be permitted to withdraw its bid between the closing time for receipt of bids and execution of the Contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. A conditional or unqualified bid will not be accepted. Bid Bond. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond to the City of Port Angeles for a sum of not less than 5% of the amount of the bid, and no bid will be considered unless accompanied by such bid deposit. In addition, the bidder shall submit a copy of a valid certificate of registration in compliance with 18.27 RCW. The Bid Security form is attached. Any questions bidders have with regard to the Statement of Work shall be submitted in writing to the Project Manager, at contracts@cityofpa.us. No responses will be provided for questions submitted after close of business (5:00 PM, PDT) on the Thursday, March 28, 2024, preceding the bid opening date.
