Sheriff's Department Essex The Essex County Sheriff's Department, The Awarding Authority Invites Sealed Bids From Contractors For The Lawrence Correctional Facility Roofing Project Under M.g.l. C. 30, 39m, Or M.g.l. C. 30b, 5 Public Works (Non-building) Construction Contracts (With Labor). Scope of Work: Prepare the existing roof to install a new roof system directly over the existing roof insulation. This includes removing the roof membrane and leaving the existing roof insulation in place. The existing roof insulation will be inspected for deterioration. Furnish and install all necessary wood nailers. Furnish and install 1 layer of ½” High-Density Isocyanurate insulation over the existing 2 layers of roof insulation. The new insulation will be mechanically attached to the deck per manufacturers specifications to obtain a warranty. Furnish and install a Mechanically Attached RhinoBond 60 Mil TPO Roofing System per the manufacturer’s specifications to obtain a warranty. Flash all roof penetrations and walls. Furnish and install new standard color drip edge at the perimeter of this roof. Provide the owner with a Manufacturers 20 Year No Dollar limit Labor and Material warranty for the new TPO Roofing System
