Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Lawrence invites bids from MassDOT prequalified vendors interested in providing the following for the City of Lawrence, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications outlined in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). A contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total bid price. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway Sidewalk & Curbing, for the project with an estimated value of $2,000,000 will be required. The City will not award a contract to a bidder who is not pre-qualified by MassDOT. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price and will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30, 39M. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, MassDOT Pre-qualification and OSHA Certifications. The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any or all bids or take whatever action is in the best interest of the City.
