The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proposal, the General Conditions,and the Special Conditions of the Contract, the Specifications and Contract Documents therefore as prepared by Lexington Fayette Urban County Government for the Repair of Fountain Pumps at Thoroughbred Park project. Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule beginning on page P-6, Part III, Form of Proposal, of this document, for the Repair of Fountain Pumps at Thoroughbred Park, Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky. Repair of Fountain Pumps at Thoroughbred Park BID SECURITY If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A cashiers check or irrevocable letter of credit is an acceptable form of bid security. RIGHT TO REJECT The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government may be served.
