STATEMENT OF WORK The intent of this document is for MPU to purchase a generator that will be set up for stand-by operation. The loads it will be required to start are listed in the appendix as MPU Case 2 and Table P.P. The generator and paralleling gear will be configured per the attached drawing. The manufacturer shall deliver the generator to the site and customer will unload the generator and paralleling gear. The controls shall be capable of communicating with generator over the MPU SCADA System. Provide a control system such that MPU can monitor and control the generator and the breaker in the paralleling gear. MPU would like to start/stop the generator, open/close the paralleling breaker, exercise the generator, and monitor all critical points on the generator and paralleling gear from the MPU facility located approximately 2500' from the generator site via single mode fiber optic cable. All manufacturers shall provide documentation that shows their generator can start the required loads and communicate with the owner's SCADA System located 2500' away from the generator site. Each manufacturer shall provide a load flow study of the system with the generator installed.
