The Project consists of installation of curb, sidewalk, and storm drainage facilities along the south side of E. High Street in Manheim Borough. installation of storm pipe, inlets, sidewalk, curbing, and asphalt restoration Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount, the Workmen's Compensation Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, Contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits and licenses. Owner shall assist Contractor, when necessary, in obtaining such permits and licenses. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 240 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
