The City of Boulder Housing and Human Services Department is seeking licensed nurse(s) (RN or LPN) and certified nursing assistance (CNA) to provide ancillary services for nursing care for sheltered individuals experiencing homelessness in the City of Boulder. Services will focus on clients who require 24/7 recuperative care after discharge from the hospital or clinics after minor procedures or illnesses and fit the description of unhoused who require recuperative services for short term recovery. The respite center will admit clients on a referral basis from hospitals or clinics. All patients must perform activities of daily living (ADLs), must be free from psychosis, free from active substance withdrawal, and maintain an active participant in their recovery process by working with case management during their stay with the goal of transfer to shelter, housing, or long-term care services. Ancillary staff will work with respite center operation staff to relay any concerns, requirements, or needs the client may have during their stay in respite. Solicitation Documents will be issued electronically only. Proposals shall be prepared at the proposers expense and become a City record and therefore a public record. The services upon which proposals are submitted shall equal or exceed the specifications outlined in the RFP. Preference is hereby given to labor, materials, supplies, or provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Colorado, quality and price being equal to articles or services offered by competitors outside the State of Colorado. Information Technology - Accessibility. In the event the City determines the Services described herein include information technology or digital content that must be made accessible, Contractor agrees, if requested by the City, to undertake such reasonable efforts that may be needed of Contractor to adapt and convert work product to ensure it is accessible within the meaning of 24-85-101, et seq., C.R.S., and its implementing regulations.
