Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brighton Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work generally consists of approximately 17,000 square yards of roadway milling and Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; Superpave WMA binder course; and all necessary appurtenances for said construction. Add alternates include additional roadway milling and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All questions regarding the figures, Drawings, and Specifications and the interpretation thereof and the resolving, conflicts, and inconsistencies therein shall be determined by the Engineer and such determination shall be final.
