The project involves the construction of a new fire station facility, including all necessary site work, building construction, and installation of required equipment. The selected company will manage all aspects of the construction process, ensure quality workmanship, adhere to safety regulations, and deliver the project on time and within budget. The City of Clermont is seeking a qualified construction management at-risk firm to oversee the construction of Fire Station 2. The project involves the construction of a new fire station facility, including all necessary site work, building construction, and installation of required equipment. The selected company will manage all aspects of the construction process, ensure quality workmanship, adhere to safety regulations, and deliver the project on time and within budget. The project will be on a 3.27-acre site with approximately 250 feet of frontage along Hancock Road. The new proposed fire station is expected to be a 20,500 SF +/-, single-story, five (5) bay drive-through station to accommodate five (5) fire rescue apparatus and individual sleeping quarters for sixteen (16) personnel. The station will also include a 1,450 SF multi-purpose training/conference room that may serve as supplementary bunk space during emergencies. Interior facilities within the station include a large dayroom, dining, kitchen, and fitness center alongside administration offices and workspaces. A training tower located at the exterior of the building will facilitate multi-level drill training and personnel certification. The station's construction is intended to adhere to prevailing industry standards delineated by the US Fire Administration. Provisions have been made for public parking along the eastern facade, with staff and additional overflow facilities allocated to the rear/western side of the building, with an estimated provision for 49-50 parking spaces overall.
