Scope of Services The City of Clermont, Florida, is seeking a qualified contractor to design-build three (3) picnic pavilions in three (3) parks located within the City. This scope of work document outlines this project's detailed specifications, service requirements, and delivery requirements. List of parks and address: Palatlakaha Park: 1250 12th Street, Clermont, FL 34711 Lake Felter Park: 1750 Johns Lake Road, Clermont, FL 34711 Waterfront Park: 100 3rd Street, Clermont, FL 34711 Detailed Specifications The picnic pavilions must be constructed of high-quality materials that are durable, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance. The pavilion design must be aesthetically pleasing and blend well with the surrounding park environment. The contractor must adhere to all relevant codes and standards, including but not limited to: Florida Building Code (2014 edition) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards The pavilions should provide adequate shade and cover from the elements for park visitors. The pavilions should have proper lighting fixtures to ensure safety and visibility during evening hours. Service Requirements The successful respondent is responsible for delivering all materials and equipment required for installing the picnic pavilions. The successful respondent must obtain all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities before commencing with the installation. The successful respondent must prepare the site for installation, including clearing vegetation, grading the area, and ensuring proper drainage. The successful respondent must accurately measure and mark the placement of the picnic pavilions according to the specifications provided. The successful respondent must assemble and install the picnic pavilions in a professional manner, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The successful respondent must carefully inspect each pavilion after installation to ensure proper functionality and workmanship. The successful respondent must clean up the work area and remove all construction debris upon completion of the installation. The successful respondent must provide the City of Clermont with a warranty for the picnic pavilions and address any issues or defects during the warranty period. Delivery Requirements The successful respondent must deliver all materials for the picnic pavilions to the specified parks within the agreed-upon timeframe. The successful respondent must coordinate with the City of Clermont's designated Project Manager to schedule the installation of the picnic pavilions so as to minimize disruption to park activities. The successful respondent must complete the installation of the picnic pavilions within the agreed-upon timeframe. The successful respondent must provide the City of Clermont with detailed documentation of the completed installation, including plans, specifications, and warranties. Interested contractors are invited to submit a proposal in response to this scope of work document. The proposal should include detailed cost estimates, relevant experience, references, and any additional information that demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully complete this project. The City of Clermont reserves the right to reject any proposals that are incomplete, non-compliant, or not in the best interest of the City.
