Budgeted Amount: $150,000 Question Deadline:May 1, 2024, 3:00pm The City of Clermont, FL, is seeking bids for the structural demolition of two vacant properties within the city limits. This project aims to safely and efficiently demolish the existing structure to make way for the future expansion of Oak Hill Cemetery. The property's locations are 929 and 951 East Ave., Clermont, FL. All work must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from receipt of a purchase order from the City. Before commencing demolition, the contractor must obtain a building permit from the Building Services Department on the 1st floor of Clermont City Hall, 685 West Montrose Street. A septic tank permit must also be obtained from the Lake County Department to abandon the septic tank. The successful respondent is responsible for the payment of all required permits. The contractor must utilize wet demolition techniques during all demolition work at the site. The City will furnish metered water at no cost. The contractor must ensure no visible emissions (visible dust) are created during demolition. All debris loads leaving the premises must be covered with a tarpaulin or sprayed with water to minimize dust loss during transportation. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be the successful respondent's responsibility to shut work down during any service of internment until the time of the service is complete.
