Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ringle, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the application of Bituminous Seal Coating as directed. All work shall conform to WDOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction 2010 Edition (Standard Specifications). The Town will rough grade all streets to prepare the streets for the Contractor to fine grade, compact and apply the chip seal. The work shall consist of bituminous seal coating with double and single stone cover aggregate. The work shall be done in accordance with Sections 455, 460 and 475 of Standard Specifications. The Town of Ringle reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Town. In general, the work shall include double chip seal coating on Dana Lane, Diane Lane, Shane Low Drive, North Ranch Road and Plover View Road. Also, the work shall include a single chip seal on Hilly Acres Road. The approximate units of the major work items are as follows: 1) Dana/Diane Lane - 6,800 sq. yds. double chip seal 2) Shane Low Drive 1,900 sq. yds. double chip seal 3) North Ranch Road 1,600 sq. yds. double chip seal 4) Plover View Road 4,200 sq. yds. double chip seal 5) Hilly Acres Road - 3,400 sq. yds single chip seal
