Renovation of a power facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, supervision, tools, equipment, And materials necessary for and incidental to the work. All work shall be in Accordance with this specification. The purpose of this project is to reduce methane emissions by replacing pneumatic valve controls (pressure controllers and positioners) that operate on natural gas. New pilot style pneumatic controllers by vrg emit no or low pneumatic gas. This project is subject to the performance bond and the labor and material payment bond, each at 100% of the awarded contract amount. Any questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than 3/25/2024 4:00 pm Philadelphia gas works (pgw) has established an anti-discrimination policy relating to the participation of minority, women, veteran, and/or disabled owned business enterprises collectively known as disadvantage business enterprises ("dbes") in contracts and in workforces, which policy is designed to provide equal opportunity for all businesses and persons to assure that its funds are not used, directly or indirectly, to promote, reinforce or perpetuate discriminatory practices.
