Award amount is $183,656.18** The Contractor shall furnish all of the materials and perform all of the work shown on the drawings and described in the Specifications entitled: WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA LANCASTER AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS prepared by Pennoni Associates Inc., Consulting Engineers, 158 West Gay Street, Suite 300, West Chester, Pennsylvania 19380, acting as and in these Contract Documents, entitled the Engineer, and shall do everything required by the Agreement and the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 04/01/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materialmen's Bond in the amount of 100%; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% for the Contract price up to $200,000 plus 10% above $200,000. This project involves the traffic signal improvements at four (4) intersections in Willistown Township: - Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030) & Cedar Hollow Road - Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030) & West Central Avenue - Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030) & Central Avenue/Green Hollow Road - Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030) & King Road/Moreland Road Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
