Question Deadline 04/01/2024 at 11:00 AM ET In keeping with its mandate to provide efficient and effective services, the Authority is now soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed and insured entities to provide the services described in the Scope of Work to the Authority. All proposals submitted in response to this solicitation must conform to all of the requirements and specifications outlined within this document and any designated attachments in its entirety. The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA or the "Authority") is seeking proposals from independent contractors with demonstrated professional competence and experience to provide inspection, service and replacement of fire extinguishers and other related services for maintenance at various property locations. The Authority seeks a formal response from Contractors as to qualifications and experience to perform assignments within the Scope of Services. The Contractor selected by the Authority will be required to follow the Authority policies as specified in this RFP, the Performance Based Contract and subsequent work orders to provide fire extinguisher services for the specified properties as identified in Attachment G. The Authority preserves the right to add services or cease services to any properties on an as-needed basis if in the best interest of the Authority to do so. This Agreement shall become effective upon CMHA issuing a notice of contract commencement to Contractor and shall remain in effect for the term set forth in Attachment A - Scope of Work and the Contract Acceptance and Award, with the option to renew at CMHA's sole discretion prior to the expiration of this Agreement. However, at no time may the term of this Agreement exceed five years. The Contract shall begin upon the delivery of a Notice of Contract Commencement by CMHA to the Contractor. This Notice may be delivered in the form of a letter, copy of signed contract or contract acknowledgement. CMHA Reserves the right to modify this schedule at its discretion.
