**As of July 5, 2024, There are no plans currently to rebid the project..** furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: Municipal Garage Asphalt (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by City of Hamilton. (Design Professional"). Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). In general, the project will consist of: Placing new asphalt, paving markings, and other improvements on the campus of the Municipal Garage. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is an Ohio Prevailing Wage project. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s). Substantial Completion Date Within 30 days of Notice to Proceed Final Completion Date Within 60 days of Notice to Proceed Question Deadline 05/13/2024 at 2:00 PM Scope of work: • Mill 2" of old asphalt off and cleanup • Apply Trackless Tack Coat before laying new asphalt • Fill 2" with new asphalt • Crack seal around all seams of new asphalt • Striping requirements- Parking / No Parking / Crosswalk striping required per attached mapping • All pricing should include the use of necessary equipment, supplying materials, & labor.
