Located at the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and State Routes 128, and 129 the City of Hamilton has approximately 63,000 residents. The City is located near Cincinnati and is primarily a residential community with 90% of its customers on residential rates. A six member City Council governs The City of Hamilton and sets overall policy, approves budgets and establishes electricity rates. An appointed Public Utilities Commission advises staff on utility-related matters, and a City Manager runs the daily affairs. The City has approximately 600 full and part time employees. The City of Hamilton serves approximately 30,000 customers in a service territory of approximately 30 square miles. It owns and operates electric, water/wastewater and natural gas facilities within and around the City limits. Hamilton Utilities (HU), which includes the City's public utility divisions, manages a combined population of approximately 81,000 electric, natural gas and water meters. Hamilton currently owns and operates (5) Level 2 dual port EV charging stations. The City continues to focus on clean and alternative energy with its hydroelectric generation facilities (Meldahl, Greenup), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station and its EV deployments. The City of Hamilton, Ohio, is requesting proposals and statements of qualifications from a qualified EV Equipment provider or team of providers to contract with the City to provide electric DC Fast charging station equipment. It is the intention of the City to contract the services of a firm that at a minimum, will provide: Provide (DCFC) Fast charging equipment for public use in the City of Hamilton. The Installation of equipment will be completed by the City of Hamilton team. The City of Hamilton has (2) Two location sites that are planned to install DCFC. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Hamilton, Ohio.
