Scope of Services a) Contractor will be responsible for the removal of 24 boulders that weigh between 1000 to 1200 lbs. each. b) Contractor will move rocks to pre-selected areas outside of building. c) Contractor will be responsible for protecting and repair/replace if any the linoleum flooring across the entire pre-selected path during extraction is damaged. At completion of the work, Contractor will provide a written warranty that the completed project is free from any workmanship or material defects for a period of one (1) year starting from the date of the works formal acceptance. The warranty shall state that, in case of any workmanship defects that will occur within the period of one (1) year, the Contractor shall implement the necessary corrective work without charging the State for the costs of materials, labor, and equipment use. Reference #1 Reference #2 Reference #3 General Compliance General guideline to follow while on HSH Property o All work shall be done between 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, except State Holidays. o The duration of this work shall be no longer than ninety (90) work days, excluding rain out days unless agreed to be Hawaii State Hospital Facility Plant Manager. o Contractor to provide safety signs, barricades, and other devices necessary for the safety and convenience of the general public. Contractor shall at all times conduct his/her work to assure the least possible disruption to normal public traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) and allowing for the free flow of traffic and public rights-of way. o Shirts are required to be worn at all times on the work site, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, no radios or headsets are allowed. o Adverse conditions which may require major field changes not stated in the scope of work for this project must be reported to the Hawaii State Hospital Facility Plant Manager prior to commencement or continuation of work. o Contractor shall re-execute any work that fails to conform to the requirements of this agreement and shall immediately remedy any defects due to faulty workmanship by the Contractor. Should the Contractor fail to comply, the State reserves the right to engage the services of another company to perform the services and to deduct such costs from monies due to the Contractor.
