Morin Lake I.R. No. 217 - Morin Lake - Lagoon and SPS Upgrades, ISC Project No. CT622; Contract 1 - Lagoon Upgrades. The Work generally comprises of the construction of a new flexible geomembrane lined sewage lagoon expansion and the installation of a new flexible geomembrane liner within the existing sewage lagoon including: - Site preparation including clearing, grubbing and stripping - Construction of a new flexible geomembrane lined secondary cell and a flexible geomembrane lined primary cell expansion - Desludge of existing primary cell and installation of a flexible geomembrane liner in the existing primary and secondary cells - Installation of a geocomposite and geonet drainage layer under the flexible geomembrane liner on top of the compacted subgrade on the cell floors - Installation of a non-woven geotextile underlayment under the flexible geomembrane liner on top of the compacted subgrade on the interior cell dyke slopes - Installation of a subdrain piping system within the primary and secondary cell interior subgrades - Installation of geomembrane liner modular composite vent strips and gas vent pipes within the primary and secondary cells - Construction of a sludge stabilization cell The work is located near the community of Hall Lake and the Morin Lake Indian Reserve No. 217.
