As of May 9,2024 the project was awarded to Foreman Construction for $116,465.77 Reference Number 0000347153 The Village of Beverly Hills, Michigan is soliciting proposals for the rehabilitation/remodeling of its Public Safety Building. The Village is seeking to upgrade the functionality, appearance, security, energy efficiency and accessibility of the two-story structure originally constructed in 1988. The building is roughly 10,500 sq. ft. and has a basement. Site Location: The Beverly Hills Public Safety Building is located at 18600 W. 13 Mile Rd. The site, on the north side of 13 Mile Rd. west of Southfield Road, is on a heavily traveled major road. The site is bounded to the east by the Southfield Township and Village Hall, to the north by a residential subdivision, and to the west by a small condominium/townhouse community. This is a Request for Proposal for material and labor costs for improvement to the Public Safety building. The project involves improvements to the interior and exterior of the Village Public Safety building. More specifically, the improvement includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Removing and replacing all ceiling tile on the first and second floors of the building; Removing all light fixtures on the first and second floors and replace with new LED light fixtures; Remove all vertical blinds installed on the first and second floor windows and replace them with screen shades; Tint all first floor windows with 3M safety tint and all second floor windows with 3M Silver 18 tint; Remodel the kitchen in the second-floor breakroom with various updated materials, including: 1) new kitchen cabinetry, molding and accessories; 2) new countertops; 3) new plumbing fixtures; and 4) new appliances.
