The City of Cincinnati - Office of Environment and Sustainability (OES) is soliciting proposals for the environmental assessment, remediation planning, and re-use planning activities for properties in the Lower Mill Creek Valley. This work is associated with the US EPA Brownfield Assessment Grant Awarded to the City of Cincinnati. Offeror's proposal is to perform the functions of the Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP), the Community Outreach Consultant (COC), and grant project administrator. City initiates negotiations with preferred Offeror (approx.) 5/17/2024 The due date for submitting questions in response to the RFP is 11:00 AM ET on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The project period for this RFP is January 2024-December 2027. However, please note that the grant activity period ends June 2027. Project scheduling must take these dates into account. The total amount awarded for this grant was $500,000. Approximately $30,000 of this budget will be used for a separate procurement for the brownfield inventory. The work plan and narrative documents contain estimates of the quantity and type of various assessment activities and their corresponding budgets under this award. These documents also contain a high-level anticipated schedule. The offeror shall consider the quantity and type of various assessment activities listed below for planning purposes as estimates listed in the grant work plan, but the total quantity and type will depend on the overall cost of the project. Funds may be reallocated as appropriate across the assessment activities, quantities identified below may increase or decrease as the assessment process drives next steps and as the project timing allows.
