Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility; and for the construction of a 240-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

The Town of Kamsack (“the Owner”) requests a tender to complete the construction of the Kamsack Transfer Station at the existing Kamsack Landfill. The Work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: ? Mobilization and demobilization of equipment to site, including construction of haul roads, site safety, and all other temporary works and facilities. ? Pre-disturbance wildlife and bird sweep prior to clearing and grubbing. ? Grubbing of all brush, roots, and stumps from within the grubbing limits and hauling to the appropriate stockpile. ? Stripping of approximately 200 mm of topsoil and 350 mm of subsoil from within the stripping limits and hauling of material to the appropriate stockpiles as shown in the drawings. ? Construction of an elevated interlocking block retaining wall. ? Supply and installation of engineered fill, granular subbase, and granular base. ? Construction of concrete pads for roll-off bins. ? Supply and install of a pre-fabricated 10' x 24' site office. ? Install Highload 60 insulation under concrete bin pads. ? Construction of the surface water ditches including supply and placement of all erosion controls. ? Topsoiling and seeding of permanent ditches, embankment slopes, all disturbed areas, and seeding of topsoil stockpiles to aid in erosion control on-site. ? Surveying, as required for the completion of all portions of the Work, which must include a detailed as-built geodetic survey of the entire Work area and all the Work performed. To be provided and approved by Engineer as construction progresses. The work is located 2 kilometres southwest of the Town of Kamsack, at the NW quarter of Section 27-29-32-W1M.
