As of April 25, 2024, per owner, a design team has been selected. Construction will begin likely in May 2025. They are in final design. The improvements shall be made by way ofroadway rehabilitation and utility upgrades, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111. The areas proposed to be assessed for such improvements are the properties abutting on and/or benefiting from such street improvements. The estimated cost ofthe improvement is $3,110,000. At the public hearing, the city will have available a reasonable estimate ofthe impact ofthe special assessment. The anticipated amount ofthe future special assessment, for each parcel proposed to be assessed, will be provided. This amount will be an estimate only, and is subject to change at the time the special assessments are actually levied. Such persons that desire to be heard, with reference to the proposed improvements ofBernard Street, will be heard at this meeting.
