Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,228-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The proposed Work is to provide a permanent sand and salt storage facility as indicated. Provide a pre-engineered structure consisting of a membrane tensioned over steel framework. The storage floor area shall be entirely free of columns and roof supports of any type allowing unimpeded unloading of tractor trailer dump trucks and loading of truckspreader vehicles with front-end loading equipment. The interior space of the structure shall be entirely free of supports, wires, cables, or any other objects which might impede unloading of tandem and dump trailers trucks within building space. Question Deadline 04/19/2024 All written questions and other communications made by the Bidder prior to execution of the Contract are to be directed solely to the Purchasing Agent Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or certified cheque in lieu thereof in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including H.S.T.). Subject to the Contract Documents, the successful Bidder shall be required to provide Performance Guarantees as specified in the Tender Documents and in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act S.N.B. 2020, c. 29. being a performance bond and a labour and material payment bond, each at fifty percent (50%) of the Bid Price covering the faithful performance of the Contract. The Bid that is compliant with Phase I mandatory requirements hereunder and contains the lowest or any Bid Price will not necessarily be accepted by the City.
