Separate sealed bids from qualified bidders for a new fire department substation "Creekside Fire Substation" The proposed building is a 2,674 s.f. free standing pre-engineered metal building that includes two truck bays, common area and 4 sleeping rooms. Project includes retaining walls, site fill, and some utility work. Project also includes concealed faster metal panels and low slope standing seam roof. The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Plans, Specifications, Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the Harrison Department of Public Works Facility located at 303 N. 3rd Street, Harrison, AR 72601. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope specifying that it is a bid for "Creekside Fire Station", the time for opening of bids, and the name and current contractor's license number of the bidder. Bids must be made on the official bid sheets contained in the contract documents Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203, the Owner encourages all qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services and construction. The Owner also encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The City of Harrison reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
